NameSpace

Namespace is programmed with 9,151 of the most common first and 88,799 of the most common last names of Americans based on US Census data. It randomly constructs first and last name pairs of hypothetical names and displays a new one every several seconds. The frequency at which any one name appears is roughly based on how common it is in the population. The video to the right represents typical output.

The primary electronics in Namespace include a DIY Arduino, uDRIVE micro-SD card reader, writer and an LCD display. The case is made from layers of 1/4 and 1/8 inch acrylic plastic machined by a small Roland milling machine and held together with brass screws.
